Engineering apprentices can now learn online

In a first for Industry Training Organisations (ITOs), the highly visual and user-friendly Competenz eLearning platform allows apprentices to complete course work in their own time and at their own pace, from any computer, anywhere.

The platform is now available to first year Mechanical Engineering apprentices as an alternative to night class or correspondence. A platform for apprentices in year two of their Mechanical Engineering will be ready for 2014.

The aim of eLearning is to transfer skills and knowledge in a more convenient and engaging way for the learner. This also saves their employer time and resources that would have otherwise been spent assisting the trainee through their bookwork.

The apprentice, and their Competenz Account Manager, can track training progress on a timeline which clearly shows which modules have been completed and passed. This ensures the apprentice completes their qualification successfully and on time.

If you are interested in getting your apprentice on-board for eLearning, contact your Competenz Account Manager or call us on 0800 526 1800.
